A blue Revlon vision

I rarely navigate towards actual eyeshadow shades, I stick with my neutrals but recently, I got my hands on these new Revlon products and I enjoyed their quality.

First of all, let's discuss the Revlon PhotoReady Primer + Shadow in 525 Avant-Garde. This colour palette is not my typical shade of choice but I was pleasantly surprised by the effect it created on my eyes for a night out. The Revlon PhotoReady Shadows allows the combination of many eye-looks with a hint of sparkle for a stronger effect.

Then, I got these two Revlon PhotoReady Kajal Eye Liners, one end of the pencil is an eye brightener and the other is a regular eyeliner. I just love that these two eyeliners are combined in one pencil, so easy for travelling and keeping in the purse for touchups during the day.

Finally, I fell in love with the Revlon Lash Potion Mascara from the Grow Luscious line. The actual Revlon Grow Luscious mascara is one of my all time favourites mascaras, so you can imagine how excited I was to try this new one. I am a sucker for amazing packaging and Revlon definitely hits the jackpot with this fairy-like mascara. The application of this mascara is so easy and it provides you with length and volume, two characteristics I always search in a mascara for a more dramatic effect. And this mascara does not transfer on the upper eyelids, like many other drugstore mascaras, a definite must !

Here is before and after the Revlon Lash Potion Mascara

Let me know if you tried any of these Revlon products and if you have any suggestions on other products from Revlon !

NYFW Day 2 : The Real Deal

I cannot contain my happiness going through these photos, it seems like NYFW was ages ago and it all went by so fast, wish I could go back !

The two days I spent in NYC were crazy, amazing and an incredible experience for me and the growth of my blog.

Here is the outfit I wore to the BCBG S/S 2014 fashion show :

I had to be comfy yet stylish because I knew I was going to run around ! I opted for these amazing BCBG pants with a wild print, something that's right up my alley.

Then I spiced up my outfit with very minimal but gorgeous jewelry all by Zinzi Canada. Look at my arm candy, its so simple but it looks so good with any outfit.
That's what I look for in jewelry easy and no-fuss.

I had the best time in NYC during NYFW and hopefully this is not my last fashion week, let's see what the future holds for me !

Runway News : BCBGMaxAzria S/S 2014

I present you the beauty that occurred inside the Lincoln Center during the BCBG S/S 2014 fashion show. As many of you already know, I am a sucker for prints and this season like every season BCBG delivers. Every season they come out with a couple of distinctive prints that are subdued and remain not too loud, which is perfect for office wear.

Asymmetrical pieces were flowing on the runway, my eyes got stuck on this gorgeous skirt, the mix of python and white just look so posh and put-together.

 Once again an asymmetrical skirt

 Prints...

Prints...

 And more prints.....

BCBG always balances flowyness and well structured pieces in their collections and they definitely delivered once again. The collection was very much based on black and white which is the ultimate fashion trend for the upcoming seasons with pops of prints, my fave !

The one and only Maz and Lubov Azria

At the end of the show, I had the pleasure of meeting the gorgeous Wendy, blogger behind Wendy's Lookbook and her boyfriend. They both were so genuine and nice as we chatted about the show, the blogging world and the boyfriends being our cameramen !

All in all, the BCBG S/S 2014 fashion show was incredible and seamless and I cannot wait  for next spring for this collection to hit stores !

Stay tuned for the outfit I wore to NYFW

Enjoy !

Mèreadesso : A One Step SkinCare

New York Fashion Week was amazing and very hectic and I had the best time of my life. From attending shows to catching in a little 5 minutes in between to shop, I loved every minute of it !

All the running around and the lack of sleep can put a strain on your skin, well, I came prepared to NYFW and brought with me a gorgeous little product that I have been using for 2-3 weeks now : the Mèreadesso All-in-One Moisturizer.

I have a normal to combination skin with the oily T-zone, so I cannot use this cream as a day cream, but let me tell you that it does wonders at night. I use this cream at night 2 to 3 times a week, or after really long days and I wake up in the morning fresh faced and re-energized.
Recently, I have been gravitating towards more of a natural product theme in my skincare and this cream really fits the team. The cream is made with countless mineral, enzymes, antioxidants and vitamins, allowing your skin to pull from them what it needs.

But the most amazing thing about this cream is that it acts as a primer, toner, eye cream, night cream, day cream, and moisturizer, all in the one product.
This is perfect for the lazy girls !

You can find this brand on  www.mereadesso.com or www.ebeauty.ca

Get Ready for the 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target Collection !

Yesterday was the day that Target released their collaboration with Phillip Lim, the 3.1 Phillip Lim X Target Collection. Since this collaboration was announced, this day was marked on my calendar.

Unfortunately, here in Canada we don't have the option of shopping online yet. And for Montreal, we don't even have any Target stores until tomorrow Tuesday September 17th. Hence, this appropriate post to guide my Montreal ladies through the 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target Collection madness !

I decided to take a little road-trip with my mom and aunt to Plattsburgh, a 1h15 mins drive to catch this collection on the actual launch day. From the beginning, my strategy was to either take the road-trip if my Montreal store wasn't opened or go to the first Montreal Target opening, but after many thoughts, I opted for Plattsburgh and the drive. We arrived there for 7h20 am and we were the second ones in line. Once the store opened, we got our hands on everything we wanted. Obviously, there is always those girls that attend the launch just to benefit from it and sell on Ebay, which I find quite unfair but that's another subject. One very impolite girl, completely emptied out the handbag selection and ran to the cash.

I got everything I wanted and then it was triage time !
This is what was left after the changing rooms and the triage !

These bags were my main target (haha !) and I was so happy to get my hands on the black and the yellow (of course, my aunt bought the Taupe so we could switch ;p ).

We both got a little carried away in the handbag section of the 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target Collection !

After screening my bag selection, I decided to give two of them away to two girls that were dying for them and it made them super happy, you gotta pay it forward sometimes !

All in all, Montreal girls be ready for the lineups, the wait, maybe the pushing and shoving, I dunno. All I know, is expect not to find the whole collection and be there at least 30 mins before opening time. Don't forget, this is not only a collection launch but the official opening of the actual store.

Be prepared, have a list of the exact items that you want and direct yourself towards them at the opening. Obviously opt for comfy shoes, comfy clothes and a cross-body bag that will not get in your way.

Big tip : bring a second person to help you scope out the deeds !

Enjoy and let me know what you picked out !

NYFW : Meeting Ann Sophie Johansson Head Designer of H&M

New York Recap :
On the first day of my stay in New York, I was invited to visit the H&M private showroom in Soho to preview a new Spring 2014 collection that will be hitting stores March 6th. I was greeted at the door by the designer herself and her team in a gorgeous space that had a rustic and tropical feel to it.

NYFW Day 1 : A Darker View

On my first day in New York, I decided to go for a darker ensemble. Surprisingly, I rarely wear black so this was very different for me.

Soho is definitely the place to shop, you have access to all the commercial stores and some little boutiques where you can find one of a kind pieces. I didn't have much time to shop because of my hectic schedule, but you know I went for a visit at Bloomingdales.

Minus the garbage exploding in the back of the picture, that's NYC for you !
I couldn't wait to wear this lipstick, YSL Rouge Pur Couture #54 Prune Avenue

Perfect accessory to any fall wardrobe !

My armparty was a fabulous layout of Zinzi Canada bangles, that I cannot take off, literally. They match everything and mixing metals is so up my street these days, it's kind of a no-fuss situation !

Blouse H&M | Skirt SmartSet | Shoes Zara | All Jewelry Zinzi Canada | Watch Michael Kors | Sunglasses Céline | Handbag Louis Vuitton

By the way, my outfit was a complete bargain, skirt and top a total of 40$ ! Cha-Ching ! That's pretty much how I roll.

Stay tuned this week for my amazing experience at the H&M HQ meeting and interviewing the Head Designer.

Enjoy !
