Yolo for Yellow Pants

Pants Zara | Blouse Old Navy | Vest Editorial Boutique | Sneakers Nike | Necklace Shopthe26thlook | Handbag H&M

The minute I saw these pants on the Zara website, I knew they had to live in my closet forever. I was one smart little shopaholic though, I waited and waited and waited and snatched them during the Zara sale at a ridiculous low price and I wore them so many times already. Not many would dare to wear yellow pants but I said Yolo, too good to pass up ;)

They were the perfect key to my last NYFW outfit, the last one had to be a comfy one ;p

Boutique Monroe in Les Cours Mont Royal

If you have been following my blog from the beginning you know the exact idea behind my blog : to display affordable Fashion and Beauty mixed with high-end pieces for any women, because luxury is the confidence you project whether you are a size 0 or a size 10.

Last week, I found a boutique in the Les Cours Mont Royal that kinda has the same motto. Boutique Monroe is a boutique that carries clothes for a women from a size 8 to a size 18, don't be fooled, in Canada, an average women is a size 10. This boutique is not considered a plus size boutique but more of a boutique for the average Canadian women and the Les Cours Mont Royal were very proud to add them to their list of amazing vendors.

Many of you know that I am not a regular size 0 nor am I "plus-sized" (a word I don't quite like) but more of a size 8-10 and the reason why I started this blog is to display that it's all about the way you dress your body, no matter your size. You can do anything and look as sexy but you need to enhance and display the right spots.

Boutique Monroe carries gorgeous designers such as "Stop Sharing", "NYDJ" and the Montreal-based brand "Sosiesosie".

Once you enter the shop, you can really see that the pieces were carefully chosen and that they all mesh well together.

Boutique Monroe is located in the ever-so-growing Les Cours Mont Royal. What I like the most about Les Cours Mont Royal is that they really gathered gems of boutiques, where you can find really affordable and unique pieces.

Make sure to check it out next time you are in Les Cours Mont Royal !

Prepping for Winter at PointZero

Last month, I paid a little visit at the gorgeous PointZero offices to have a nice glance at the upcoming seasons new offerings. The place was filled from the latest coats from the Point Zero brand and the sister brand Nicole Benisti Signature Collection. It was so hard to choose a favorite but the blue one definitely had a little extra love from me. Let me tell you it was hard to keep a thick winter coat on in the middle of the summer but we always want what we can't have and I was craving a nice winter storm in the middle of August ! Did I really just say that ?!

Point Zero coats will keep you warm for the crazy winter that's about to drop of us that's for sure. You can go for a more classic look or a sportier look, the Point Zero brand has some for everybody in the family, even the little ones ;)

Make sure to check out the latest from the Point Zero family and keep your eyes pealed for my final choice.

Monochrome Stripes at NYFW14

If you follow me on social media you must have seen my recent little work trip to New York for New York Fashion Week. I was lucky enough to get invited for a 3rd time to this amazing fashion event and to attend many shows which I will post in the upcoming weeks on the blog.

The 3rd time around, you know how it works, wake up, eat, get ready, watch show, come back to hotel, change outfits, go to another show and repeat ;)
Vest Zara | Dress Zara | Shoes Zara | Handbag Karen Millen | Necklace BCBG | Sunglasses RayBan

This year, for my first look, I went for the whole monochrome vibe. I am very much into the minimalist black and white look but with always remaining true to my style, hence the stripes on stripes on stripes. This Karen Millen handbag was the perfect clutch to carry my lipstick, my camera, my phone, my phone battery (of course ;p) and cards.

Stay tuned for more New York Fashion Week outfits !
