In honour of New York Fashion Week being in full swing this Thursday, I'm sharing with you one of my absolute favourite shoots we did last September during NYFW. I love roaming around the streets of New York, enjoying the view and the beautiful scenery. This shoot is a total spontaneous set that we snapped on a relax Sunday, I was walking around with a complete bare face (no makeup), jeans, casual tee and some kicks; the perfect stroll. 

As you may know, the photographer and I (aka the boyfriend) are heading to NYC this Thursday. Although, we will be missing a couple of shows because of meetings and my thesis in Montreal, upon our arrival, we will surely be sharing with you the amazingness of the next weekend.

En l'honneur du New York Fashion Week qui prend son plein essor ce jeudi, je partage avec vous un de mes shooting préférés que nous avons fait en septembre dernier durant la Semaine de la Mode. J'adore me promener dans les rues de New York, profiter de la vue et de la beauté des paysages. Ce shooting était un set totalement spontané que nous avons pris lors d'un dimanche de détente, je me promenais sans maquillage, en jeans, t-shirt décontracté et des running shoes ; la promenade parfaite.

Comme vous le savez, le photographe et moi (aka le copain) se dirigent vers New York ce jeudi. Malgré le fait que nous allons manquer quelques spectacles en raison de réunions et de ma thèse à Montréal, dès notre arrivée, nous allons partager avec vous la folie du week-end prochain.

Yolo for Yellow Pants

The minute I saw these pants on the Zara website, I knew they had to live in my closet forever. I was one smart little shopaholic though, I waited and waited and waited and snatched them during the Zara sale at a ridiculous low price and I wore them so many times already. Not many would dare to wear yellow pants but I said Yolo, too good to pass up ;)

They were the perfect key to my last NYFW outfit, the last one had to be a comfy one ;p

Rosegold Nike for NYFW

For the 3rd day of New York Fashion Week, I decided to play it comfy. I knew it was going to be a long day of running from one show to another, so the RoseGold Nikes were the perfect addition to this all blue outfit. The outfit gave a very girly vibe and the kicks roughed it up by keeping it in the pastels.

This year, I attended the RewardStyle party which was filled with gorgeous bloggers from all around the world. This ultimate blogger party was at The Empire Hotel where we had a gorgeous view on the Lincoln Center, our playground for the week. I had a chance to chat with the forever gorgeous Coco Rocha and sneak in a little picture ;p

The Moncler Experience NYFW Fall2014 - Winter Symphony

The last stop of my NYFW adventure was at the Moncler Grenoble Fall 2014 show that took place in at the Hammerstein Ballroom. When I heard it was in a ballroom, I was very intrigued in the style Moncler was going to adopt to display their fall 2014 collection. Let me introduce you to the brand.

Moncler is a french brand specializing in gorgeous luxury outerwear that you can wear in the mountains and during your day-to-day city life.

This time for their Fall 2014 show, they displayed an unique visual and musical experience like no other.

Runway Rundown : BCBGMaxAzria FW2014

Last week, I had the amazing chance to return to New York for the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Once again, I got to see the amazingness that BCBGMaxAzria has to show us every season.

This BCBGMaxAzria Fall/Winter 2014 Collection was right up my alley, the minute the Fur came down the runway, I was sold.

Fur is always a good idea !!!

This poncho is everything ! 

Ladies, the fur muff is back, get ready for next winter ! We surely need some in Montreal. 

Then, I fell in love with the simplicity of these gorgeous dresses. Neutrals are all the rage these days, but I absolutely adore the way BCBGMaxAzria created a neutral palette but yet managed to incorporate a pop of turquoise with the simplicity of lines.

NYFW : Meeting Ann Sophie Johansson Head Designer of H&M

New York Recap : 

On the first day of my stay in New York, I was invited to visit the H&M private showroom in Soho to preview a new Spring 2014 collection that will be hitting stores March 6th. I was greeted at the door by the designer herself and her team in a gorgeous space that had a rustic and tropical feel to it.

NYFW Day 1 : A Darker View

 On my first day in New York, I decided to go for a darker ensemble. Surprisingly, I rarely wear black so this was very different for me. 

Soho is definitely the place to shop, you have access to all the commercial stores and some little boutiques where you can find one of a kind pieces. I didn't have much time to shop because of my hectic schedule, but you know I went for a visit at Bloomingdales. 

Minus the garbage exploding in the back of the picture, that's NYC for you ! 

I couldn't wait to wear this lipstick, YSL Rouge Pur Couture #54 Prune Avenue. 

Perfect accessory to any fall wardrobe ! 

My armparty was a fabulous layout of Zinzi Canada bangles, that I cannot take off, literally. They match everything and mixing metals is so up my street these days, it's kind of a no-fuss situation !
