All about brows with Elle Québec

Coming from a middle eastern family, my brows have always been the main focus of my face (all the middle eastern girls I'm sure you understand). However, when I was young my brows were always a struggle because in the early 00's strong brows where clearly not the fashion trend. As I grew older, I grew to appreciate my strong brows and now it always a compliment I receive because people do not believe me when I say that I do not fill0in my brows. Last month, Elle Québec asked me to take part in their video with Revlon where the main topic was all about brows. Venant d'une famille moyen-orientale, mes sourcils ont toujours été l'objet principal de mon visage (toutes les filles du Moyen-Orient, je suis sûr que vous me comprenez). Cependant, quand j'étais jeune, mes sourcils étaient toujours une lutte les sourcils très forts n'étaient pas si tendance que cela au début des années 2000. J'ai grandi à apprécier mes sourcils forts et maintenant c'est toujours un des premiers compliments que je reçois, souvent car les gens ne croient pas que je ne dessine pas mes sourcils. Le mois dernier, Elle Québec m'a demandé de prendre part à une vidéo avec Revlon où le sujet principal était les sourcils. New In: MakeUpForEver Goodies

My love for nude eyeshadows never stops. I must admit, during the summer months, I rarely wear any makeup but for those nights out, the soft colours of this MakeUpForEver Artist Palette Vol.1 fit perfectly in my vibe. I find it to be always a hassle to find a palette where you'll use every shade but I think I may have found my favourite one, it's so easy and the quality of the shadows is ridiculously amazing. Mon amour pour les ombres à paupières de couleurs nude ne s'éteint jamais. Je dois vous admettre que pendant l'été, je porte très rarement du maquillage, mais pour les soirées, les couleurs douces de cette MakeUpForEver Artiste Palette Vol.1 s'adapte parfaitement à mes looks. Je trouve qu'il est toujours difficile de trouver une palette d'ombres à paupières où on aime toutes les nuances. Pour ma part, je pense que j'ai trouvé ma palette, elle est si facile et la qualité des ombres à paupières est ridiculement incroyable. Aussi, qui dit été, dit gloss, MakeUpForEver a aussi sorti une nouvelle gamme de lipgloss les Artist Plexi-Gloss en 35 nuances, littéralement une couleur pour tout le monde.

Are you a Mac eyeshadow virgin ?

Autumn Beauty Edit Part I : The Nudes

If I'm gonna wear eyeshadow, you can be sure that I will be wearing neutrals and lately, I've been almost exclusively gravitating towards this gorgeous Maybelline The Nudes palette. Younique Lashes

My ultimate dream would be to have constant mascara on my eyelashes to create that big eye effect but without the fuss and the muss of taking off makeup and etc. 

Now, you are going to advise me to apply false eyelashes right ? Well, I'm scared. Some people swear by it, I know, but I can't help to cringe when thinking of glue remaining for a very long time on my eyelids. Also, I am short-sited so I obviously wear glasses and I know they will bother me when I wear my glasses.

This mascara really stayed put all day, although after 12 hours of wear I did have a bit of fall-out but that pretty much happens with any mascara whether it' drugstore or high-end.
