Rediscovering my closet

Summer may be over but I am still hanging on to it, because well, you never know. One of my favorite things to do, is rediscovering my closet. On the weekends, I love browsing through my closet and re-falling in love with pieces I had forgotten about. Mostly, what I love the most, is styling this long lost piece in a completely different way that I wore it the first time. Going through this little exercise also helps me declutter pieces that I know I won't wear anymore and this way, I can make place for new ;)  This time, I found this vest, that I wore over a turtleneck in the winter and paired it with my linen shorts and my current fave nude heels for a very summery sexy outfit for date night. This outfit may be one of my favorite ones, as I feel super good and comfortable in it and I love the head-to-toe beige look. You know me and monochrome ;)

L'été est peut-être terminé, mais, avec tous ces changements de température, on ne sait jamais. Une des choses que j'adore faire, c'est redécouvrir mon garde-robe. Le week-end, j'aime bien parcourir mon garde-robe et re-tomber en amour avec des pièces dont j'avais oublié. La plupart du temps, je vais retrouver une pièce et l'agencer de façon totalement différente, afin de créer un nouveau look. En faisant, ce petit exercice, je me débarrasse de plusieurs morceaux que je sais que je n'aime plus et cela me permet de faire un petit ménage. Plus de place pour des nouveaux morceaux ;) Pour ce look, j'ai retrouvé une belle veste beige que j'avais porté en hiver avec un col roulé. J'ai décidé de la porter sans rien et de l'agencer avec des shorts beiges en lin et mes nouveaux talons préférés pour une tenue un peu plus sexy. Ce look est un de mes préférés, car je me sens super comfortable et sexy et vous savez à quel point j'adore le look monochrome. Même couleur de la tête aux pieds ;)

Concert tees

Summer has officially come to an end. The nights are cooler, it's back-to-school and I'm ready for fall (insert layering and chunky knits season)! Last Friday, the boyfriend and I went to the Kanye West concert in Montreal, a concert we were very much looking forward too and of course, I was going to buy some merch. Concert tees are all the rage right now and they are the perfect easy-to-wear-but-still-looking-cute top to add to any outfit. Obviously, the concert was out-of-this-world insane, I loved every minute of it (if you cannot tell already I'm a huge rap/hip=hop fan). For a day of running around doing some errands, I opted for the Saint Pablo Tour t-shirt with my new ultimate fave vegan leather joggers from Aritzia. Words cannot describe how comfortable these pants are and how easily you can dress them up and dress them down. I added my perfect nude heels from Aldo and I was ready for date night #2. Faux-leather and cable-knits are the two best things of fall (in my opinion) ohh and coat, how can I forget ;)

L'été vient officiellement de se terminer. La fête du travail est passée, les nuits sont plus fraîches, l'école est recommencée et je suis prête pour l'automne (la saison du layering et des tricots)! Vendredi dernier, le copain et moi sommes allés voir le concert de Kanye West à Montréal, un concert auquel nous avions tellement hâte. Évidemment, j'allais acheter un t-shirt du concert de Kanye West. En ce moment, les t-shirts des concerts font fureur et sont le top parfait pour un look cute et edgy. Le concert était incroyable et hallucinant (si vous le savez pas déjà, je suis une grande fan de rap/hip-hop). Pour une journée de magasinage, j'ai bien évidemment porter mon t-shirt du concert avec mes pantalons préférés du moment, ces jogging en cuir vegan de chez Aritzia. Si vous voulez vous faire plaisir, allez en magasin et essayer ces pantalons, ils sont incroyablement comfortables et super polyvalents. Pour un petit souper entre amoureux, j'ai rajouté les sandales de rêve beige et j'étais prête pour notre petite sortie. Le faux-cuir et les tricots, les deux choses que j'adore de l'automne...oh et les manteaux bien sûr ;)
