Make a difference, one heartbeat at a time !

If you've been following me from the start of my blog, you know that the Fondation CHU Sainte-Justine is a foundation that is dear and near to my heart. If you follow me on social media, you must have seen the picture of this little fighter, here and there. 

Her name is Talia, she is 12 years old and she is the pure definition of strength and happiness. Talia is born with a complex heart condition and has been living life to the fullest ever since. If you want proof of a person living each day to the fullest, well, meet Talia. 

This upcoming Saturday the 8th of November, my family and Fondation Ste-Justine are hosting, for the 2nd year, a Gala to benefit the CINC (Clinique d'Investigation Neuro-Cardiaque). This gala will help us raise funds for the clinic of Sainte-Justine in order to provide help to other kids suffering with similar conditions related to heart surgeries and to further advance science and knowledge on the subject.

Going Green

Dermalogica saved my skin and Montreal

I have mentioned before that I do not wear makeup on a daily basis. I pretty much stick to a bare face most of the week on the exception of my teaching days and one day of the weekend. I love to try beauty bits on those days but I much prefer leaving my skin to breathe in between those makeup days. 

Well, for the past couple of days, my skin has been intensely acting up, I do not know if it's the stress but I've been dealing with redness around my chin area and on my forehead, something I've never had before. The day this Dermalogica Redness Relief Primer arrived at my doorstep, it was a magical moment *cue the angels singing* because it has changed the current appearance of my skin by reducing the redness and eliminating the little bumps I've had. A White October

Autumn came but I am still not ready to let go of my white jeans, the look of an all-white winter look just makes me so excited for the winter season. Can you just imagine a huge white coat ! 

If you ask me, you can definitely incorporate white to any season, especially with this absolutely to die-for white leather jacket that I got from JoeFresh last Spring. I can literally do leather jackets in every colour.

Feeling Orange

This month, I've been all about the orange cheeks and the orange nails, maybe it's because of the orange leaves that have taken over our trees. For the complexion, my current crush has been Benefit's Majorette cream-powder blush that gives your cheeks the instant pop of orange. As for my nails, I just can't seem to shy away from this Maybelline ColorShow formula. I went a little cray on my last drugstore visit. Particularly, for this orange-hued coral-colored nailpolish in Pretty in Peach.

Orange has taken over, well, you know, it's my favourite colour, hence the logo ;)
